Taylor Swift continues to spread happiness while on tour, with one recent fan interaction during an Eras concert in Edinburgh freeing one Swiftie of “all the cynicism” in their body.
One fan shared a video from Swift’s third night in Edinburgh during the performance of “22,” during which the 34-year-old pop star has made a tradition of interacting with a special concertgoer and gifting them her iconic black hat.
The Swiftie shared in the video, “I don’t think there was a dry eye in the stadium when this happened,” with the clip showing Swift kneeling to speak with a little girl excited and crying. The two shared a sweet hug and a high five, with the young fan visibly overwhelmed with emotion.
Onlookers were just as emotional in the comments, such as one who wrote, “why are all these vids making me cry I’m not even a swifty yet every time I’m sobbing 😭 she’s got me in my feels either that or midlife crisis 😂.”
I was there & can confirm everyone was crying,” wrote another.
Many people complimented Swift on her kindness and effort to make each moment feel special for fans, as a Swiftie commented, “Oh my god I actually couldn’t stop crying. All the cynicism I have left my body. What a beautiful moment to experience. I’ll never forget it ❤️.”

Eras Tour has been filled with special emotional moments like this, and along with the “22” fan meeting, many Swifties have gotten engaged at her concerts. Luckily, Swift finally got to see one herself during a recent concert in Scotland, calling it out to the crowd.
